What we do

One system, the whole building

Loxone brings together what is usually scattered across five apps and three suppliers. One Miniserver, one set of logic, one way to control it. We design, program and commission the whole thing, not the individual boxes.

Core systems

Lighting

Scenes, dimming and automatic switching based on presence, time of day and daylight levels. One button that does whatever makes sense at that moment.

Shading

Blinds, roller shutters and awnings driven by sun position, temperature and weather. Heat stays out in summer and comes in during winter, without anyone thinking about it.

Heating and cooling

Room by room control, tied into the heat pump, boiler and heat recovery unit. Rooms are heated when someone is in them and when energy is cheapest.

Security and access

Motion detection, door and window monitoring, cameras, video doorbell and keyless entry. An alarm that can light the house and raise the shutters, not just beep.

Multiroom audio

Independent audio in every room, controlled by the same system as the lights. Including wake up routines, announcements and streaming services.

Energy and solar

Visibility into generation and consumption, plus control of battery storage and the wallbox. Surplus goes to the water tank, the battery or the car rather than back to the grid for nothing.

Ventilation and air quality

Heat recovery driven by CO2, humidity and occupancy. Bathroom and kitchen humidity takes care of itself.

Dashboards and reporting

An app for occupants and data for whoever runs the building. For commercial projects that means consumption, runtime hours and fault history you can export.

Integrations

Modbus, KNX, MQTT and REST APIs. We can connect what Loxone does not support natively, because integration work is our day job.

Service and iteration

A system that can still be changed years later. Logic is documented, versioned and handed over, so you are not dependent on one person.

Apartments

A smart installation in a flat where you cannot open up every wall and the consumer unit has limited space.

Typical brief
Little room in the consumer unit, no way to run new cable everywhere, and building association rules covering the facade and risers.
What we install
A compact consumer unit, Loxone Tree where cable can be run and Loxone Air where it cannot. Lighting, shading, room by room temperature control and security.
Benefit
Full automation without touching the structure of the flat or the shared parts of the building.

Family houses

The most common type of installation. The whole house on one Miniserver, from the driveway to the plant room.

Typical brief
Heat pump, heat recovery, solar, pool and security, each with its own app and its own logic, none of them talking to each other.

A wired Loxone Tree installation designed alongside the electrical drawings. Room by room heating, shading driven by sun position, solar and battery control, security and access.

Industrial and commercial spaces

Where automation is measured in running costs rather than comfort.

Typical brief
High energy bills, lighting and ventilation running empty outside working hours, and no data on where the consumption comes from.
What we install
Lighting and ventilation driven by occupancy and operating hours, per circuit metering, access control and reporting. Existing plant connected over Modbus or KNX.
Benefit
Measurable energy savings and a picture you can plan from rather than guess at.

From first meeting to handover

The cheapest moment to change something is during design. The earlier we are involved, the less gets torn out later.

Consultation

We go through what you expect from the building and how far along the build is. You get a straight answer on what is worth doing and what is not.

Design and budget

System design, component list and price. You know what you are buying before the first component is ordered.

Site coordination

Documentation for the electrician and oversight so the cabling matches the design. This is the stage that decides what can still be added later.

Programming

Logic, scenes and automation. The part you cannot buy in a box, and the part that decides whether you use the system or work around it.

Handover and training

Tuning against real use, documentation and training. We hand over access along with the system, not a black box.

Aftercare and adjustments

Adjustments based on how you actually live in the building. The first few months are the most valuable for fine tuning.
FAQ

What people ask most

What is Loxone and how does it differ from a normal smart home?

Loxone is a building automation system that controls lighting, shading, heating, security and energy from a single central Miniserver. Unlike a collection of standalone smart devices, each with its own app and its own cloud, Loxone logic runs locally in one place and the individual systems can work together.

Does the system work when the internet goes down?

Yes. All logic runs on the Miniserver in the consumer unit, not in the cloud. During an internet outage, lighting, shading, heating and security carry on unchanged. The only thing lost is remote access from a phone outside the home network.

Can Loxone be installed in a finished house or apartment?

Yes. Finished spaces use the wireless Loxone Air range, which needs no new cabling, combined with wired Loxone Tree wherever cable can still be run. That makes it possible to automate lighting, shading and heating in a flat without opening up walls.

At what stage of a build should automation be planned?

Ideally during electrical design, before any cable is pulled. Cabling decisions determine what can be added later and what cannot. It is possible to get involved later, but the scope then narrows to what the wireless range can cover.

What does a Loxone installation cost?

Cost follows the number of controlled circuits rather than floor area. The main items are components and the consumer unit, electrical labour, and programming. You get a budget as part of the design, before the first component is ordered.

Can Loxone connect to a heat pump, solar system or heat recovery unit?

Yes. Alongside native Loxone components we connect equipment over Modbus, KNX, MQTT and REST APIs. A heat pump, solar inverter, battery storage, wallbox and heat recovery unit can all run on the same logic and appear in one app.

Are we tied to you as a supplier after handover?

No. The system is handed over with access credentials, documentation and configuration. Logic is documented and versioned, so another Loxone partner can pick it up. We offer service, but it is not a condition of running the system.

How long does an installation take?

Design and budgeting usually take a few weeks. Installation follows the construction schedule, because cabling goes in alongside the electrical first fix. Programming and commissioning follow once first fix is complete, and continue at a smaller scale after move in.

Where do you work?

We work mainly in Prague and Central Bohemia. By arrangement we take on projects elsewhere in the Czech Republic, and for larger commercial work location is not a constraint.
